I was halfway through chapter seven, and had taken a little break at an old image board I used to frequent. Little did I know, that as I peacefully clicked around indulging in eye candy, my computer was being accosted by malicious viruses unlike any I had met before.

I tend to get viruses, I have had a lot of them, and I've always eventually figured out how to fix it myself, (SuperAntiSpyware=<3). But this time, there was nothing I could do, and Sally, my darling laptop of four years, paid the full price for my recklessness. I took my laptop to the computer doctor as a last result, and was informed that he would save as much as he could from my hard drive. But nothing could be done to return my laptop to functionality.

So, I have yet to see what has been saved, and I'm hoping that my writings were salvaged. I'm still about two months away from having saved up enough for a new laptop. (I'm just drooling over those dual-processor models. itunes, Photoshop, and Microsoft Word all open at the same time, without lag? 8D)  Till then, I have started writing new ideas down on paper, and I've had plenty!

There is so much more still to come, yummy, romantic, hurt/comfort love scenes begging to be written, intrigue, drama, and angst pushing to be posted. I just have to get my new laptop first!

Thanks for all the reveiws and love everybody, I couldn't have come this far without you.  :)

It makes me squirm with joy to think of all the neat chapters and encounters I'll be writing when I've got a computer again. I just know my audience will love what I have lined up, (or at least, I will do my best to reach that effect.) The anticipation is killing me!

If you're only not writing now because you don't have your own hard drive to save stuff on, OMG USE GOOGLE DOCS PLEASE. It is great for writing fanfic.

I took your advice.
I use Google Docs for EVERYTHING now. It has saved my butt in many a school related occasion.

On a separate note:
I can't believe I didn't know who you were when you commented on my fic originally. But how was I to know that one of my future favorite authors was complimenting me? (Your Icon was different then.) I'm getting the mentor rush all after-the-fact.

At the time you left your comment, you were writing for the Watchmen fandom. Your Dan/Ror fics are some of my favorites. It blows my mind that the height of my current favorite fandom was unbeknown to me. Not only that, but it even stopped by and said hi.

I love your work. Thank you for acknowledging my fic. :D

Re: I took your advice.
omgwhat, you have me confused with someone else??? Yes I'm in Watchmen yes I've written a few fics but they are trivial and unlikely to be anyone's favourites and...how could you connect them with me anyway? I am so not a writer, everything I wrote was just substance-free anon fooling around.

I'm delighted to see you're in my fandom in any case, I'm just very curious about who you're mistaking me for. Are you on the kinkmeme? Have you read...there's a zillion things I could ask you here :D Let's go with the beastfic connection: have you read the major xenoschach fics - zombie, imp, Patchwork? What are your fave fics in general?

Have you written any Watchmen fics, and I'VE failed to notice YOU? If you were not also anon, that would be terrible of me.

Re: I took your advice.
I've read all three! Honestly, I've been working through all of the dan/ror community archives for a couple of months now. I think that's how the mix-up happened. Your icon has become familiar to me from reading through various comments and discussions on my favorites. (Well, we both have good taste then, 'great minds' and all that.) :) And when I started reading from the Watchmen-directory, I saw your name constantly. I mistakenly assumed you were among the ranks of etherati, daylillymoon, or steals_thyme. Ah, this sort of thing is typical of me. lol

I haven't written anything for that fandom yet. I've been itching to, but... I have my project here to tend to. I'm afraid if I start anything else I'll NEVER finish 'A Moment Echoes'. Crafting meaningful, entertaining filler between sex/romance scenes is HARD BORING very difficult for me.

How did you find this? I'm very curious to know! :D

Re: I took your advice.
Nope not among their ranks, only a first-class hanger-on :D I do post all over the place so I can see how you might mix us up.

I am totally in favour of you finishing your BatB fic, but if you want a change you could try writing short oneshots or captcha fics on the kinkmeme or something? Or come hang out in paintchat, we can always use new blood we're hungryyyy

How did I find your fic? I asked in beauty_beast for Belle/beast stories where he's still a beast. And then I was directed to your journal.

I have recently started to read the fic, and I love it!! ^_^ I really hope your writings were able to be salvaged. Something similar recently happened to my desktop ><
